Jaz bar has captured the
essence of today's interactive experience-driven culture and made it a truly
5 star occasion. What I love about Jaz is that from the moment you walk
through the door, you're well taken care of -- the service is attentive,
without being overly fussy; the atmosphere is relaxed, with a little bit of
happy anticipation buzzing around; the food... Oh my God, the food!
Consistently good quality, well planned and prepared; the presentation is
stunning, and I love the hot rock thing! I have never had a steak (or fish,
or chicken, or anything else we had that night) like that in a restaurant
before, and I have been to plenty (many of which claim to be "the best".
WRONG!).
The flavours are all
beautifully balanced, the portion sizes are all good -- not too big, not too
small (even when we had our little "smorgasbord", we were still able to
taste a little of everything before putting up the white flag!). It truly
is a delight for all senses. We loved the adventurous Aussie menu (and the
prices are pretty good too) -- I'd happily make the drive across town to
have dinner there again. And again, and again!

We wanted a casual and
relaxed environment for our wedding reception, and Jaz had the exact
atmosphere we were looking for. Randy and the staff at Jaz were totally
happy to tailor the event to what we wanted, and we felt we were able to mix
formalities with a really fun and celebratory night. They gave us a lot of
flexibility to organise our reception just the way we wanted – something we
had not found in other reception venues.
Randy and the staff of Jaz were
professional, accommodating, and easy going and made the process of
organising a reception for 108 people a very pleasant experience both before
the event and on the night. We had guests comment on how meticulous the
staff were and what a difference it made. We had a great meal and great wine
with our friends and family – it was exactly the celebration we were after.

"Dear Randy,
I just wanted to say a very
big Thank You to you and your staff for putting on such a wonderful night for
our Social Club Christmas party.
In the weeks leading up to
the party, I really appreciated how easy it was to organise everything with
yourselves, especially the fact that nothing seemed to be too much trouble for
you! It was a weight off my mind considering everything else we have to deal
with on a day to day basis with life.
The service was fantastic
as was the food and I’d like to say a special thank you to Jess who looked after
us on the night and made sure that everything was running smoothly….and of
course yourself!
The music was enjoyed by
many of our party goers who joined in the dancing outside. I cannot remember the
last time when I had organised a social event and had felt so at ease with
everything on the night and was able to actually enjoy myself with everyone
else! Everyone had a fabulous time and we will definitely be coming back in the
future for more events whether they be for the Social Club or on a personal
basis.

"In October
we hosted the extravaganza, Funding the Fight Showgirl Night, which was held at
Jaz Restaurant and Wine Bar, in Jephson St, Toowong.
The event was held to
raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, to aid in the research of
Breast Cancer.
The event
was a huge success raising over $7,000 dollars for this very worthy cause with
180 people attending the night. Jaz restaurant and wine bar did a fantastic job
in accommodating us in the organization, planning and success of this event.
The food was excellent and in abundance, the staff were professional and great
to work with and exceeded our expectations on every account.
We will be
using Jazz Restaurant for functions in the future and I would highly recommend
it to anyone else that plans to hold a successful function or event in the
future.
